Bio
I spent thirty years as an elementary school teacher, but creativity was always at the heart of everything I did. While teaching, I continued making art, experimenting with materials, and learning new techniques whenever curiosity struck.
Near the end of my teaching career, I began sharing my work more openly and discovered how much joy comes from creating alongside others. Today I teach art and craft classes that invite people to explore their creativity in a relaxed, welcoming space.
My classes include gem tree sculpture, mosaics, jewelry making, cabochon wrapping, crushed glass and resin art, UV resin, watercolor and acrylic painting, Zen doodling, art journaling, and seasonal projects.
You don’t have to be an artist to join. Many students arrive saying they aren’t creative at all. By the end of class, they’re usually surprised by what they’ve made.
I describe my work as perfectly imperfect, and I believe creativity grows when we allow ourselves to experiment, play, and enjoy the process.
